BD9S402MUF-C是一款内置低导通电阻功率MOSFET的同步整流降压型DC-DC转换器。可输出最大4A的电流。其开关频率高达2.2MHz,因此允许使用小型电感器。该产品采用电流模式控制,具有高速瞬态响应性能。另外,还内置有相位补偿电路,仅用很少的外置元器件即可构建应用产品。

背景

近年来,在汽车领域,随着事故防止和自动驾驶技术的创新,对安全性能的要求也越来越高。与此同时,控制包括车载传感器和摄像头在内的ADAS系统的SoC和微控制器也日益复杂(为提高处理能力而提高电流、为省电而降低电压),这就要求向它们供电的电源IC,要在负载电流波动的严苛条件下,也能更稳定地运行。

“BD9S402MUF-C”不仅满足ADAS用二次侧DC-DC转换器IC需要具备的开关工作频率2MHz、输出电流4A等基本要求,而且通过采用ROHM自有的超高速脉冲控制技术“Nano Pulse Control?”,还可满足下一代SoC和微控制器要求的0.6V低电压输出(优于当前要求的1.0V输出)。

另外,还采用新确立的高速负载响应技术“QuiCur?”,实现了非常出色的稳定运行(负载响应特性)。即使在1.0V以下的低电压输出条件下或负载电流波动时,也可以将电压波动抑制在±5%以内,因此非常适用于高端ADAS的二次侧电源。

此外,利用搭载QuiCur?技术所带来的特性优势,新产品还具备一项新功能——响应性能选择功能,只需将GAIN引脚设置为High/Low即可轻松在“电压波动量优先(业内超稳定运行)”、“削减电容优先(22μF小容量稳定运行)”之间进行切换。例如,当需要作为高性能的SoC电源来高速处理负载电流波动(出色的负载响应特性)时,只需要将GAIN引脚设置为High;当需要作为简单的微控制器电源使用而无需太担心负载电流波动时,只需要将GAIN引脚设置为Low,即可轻松在性能和成本之间获得良好平衡。不仅在初步设计时,而且在规格或型号变更时,都可以轻松实现预期的稳定运行,因此,可以帮助应用设计工程师大大减少电源电路的设计工时。
